Tell Us Your Story
Everywhere I go talking about The BBN Foundation and our programs people come up to me, wanting to share their story of bad news, broken badly….and sometimes told in a supportive manner. These stories are the reason our board, volunteers and myself do this work – we recognize that there is work to be done to make our healthcare systems as compassionate and caring as possible. I invite you to tell me your story below. I look forward to working together to improve communication in our healthcare system.
Initially developed by neonatologist, Dr, Anthony Orsini, D.O., the Breaking Bad News PROGRAM teaches physicians how to effectively and compassionately discuss bad news with patients and families. The way the physician delivers information has a significant impact on patients and families.
